Deck 8 Aviation Inc. is a specialized aviation management provider,  consultancy and Air Operator Certificate (AOC) services provider.

We deliver comprehensive aviation services tailored to the maritime sector in support of the planning, construction, and helicopter operations of vessels over 36 passengers. With extensive experience managing aviation operations for large-scale maritime projects, and a steadfast commitment to safety and regulatory compliance, we are well-positioned to meet all unique operational needs.

Deck 8 Aviation’s experience is grounded in assisting with the design and construction of the MV Ultramarine, overseeing its operationalization, and successful management of its helicopter operations since inception.

Furthermore, our audit and consulting work on Scenic Eclipse 1 and 2 vessels has deepened our expertise in identifying industry needs beyond current regulations. While we fully comply with regulatory requirements, we also recognize their limitations. Our operational experience has allowed us to develop industry-leading technologies and procedures not currently offered elsewhere. These innovations, validated by peer-reviewed best practices and top industry consultants, address regulatory gaps while enhancing safety and efficiency. We are proud to be the only company with direct operational experience in this specialized commercial maritime helicopter sector.

Most recently, Felix’s contributions to the aviation industry were recognized by the Royal Aeronautical Society, awarding him the distinction of Fellow, the Societies highest honor.

Our vision is to support, educate, and advance commercial-level helicopter operations on vessels. We aim to achieve this by contributing to large-scale projects. Such ventures require specialized expertise to navigate complex aviation and maritime regulations, helideck construction, and operational procedures. With our deep knowledge and experience, we provide valuable guidance throughout the design, construction, and operational implementation phases, ensuring seamless and compliant integration of helicopter operations.
